还

hái

How it works

The pattern

Subject + 还 + Verb / Adjective

Example sentences

我还在学校。

Wǒ hái zài xuéxiào.

I am still at school.

他还是老师。

Tā hái shì lǎoshī.

He is still a teacher.

天气还很冷。

Tiānqì hái hěn lěng.

Usage note
