就是
How it works
就是 is used to emphasize what something or someone exactly is. It can sound like “exactly,” “simply,” or “just.”
The pattern
Subject + 就是 + Noun / Phrase
Example sentences
他就是我的老师。
He is exactly my teacher.
这就是我想买的书。
This is exactly the book I want to buy.
我就是不想去。
I just do not want to go.

At HSK2 level, it is often used to add emphasis in spoken Chinese.
