How it works
一边……一边…… means “while... at the same time...” or “do A and B at the same time.”
The pattern
一边 + Verb 1, 一边 + Verb 2
Example sentences
他一边听音乐，一边做作业。
He does his homework while listening to music.
妈妈一边做饭，一边唱歌。
Mom cooks while singing.
我喜欢一边喝茶，一边看书。
I like drinking tea while reading.
Usage note
The two actions usually happen at the same time.
