呢 can be used to ask “what about...?” or to keep a question open.

我已经吃了，你呢？

Wǒ yǐjīng chī le, nǐ ne?

I have already eaten. What about you?

小王呢？他怎么没来？

Xiǎo Wáng ne? Tā zěnme méi lái?

What about Xiao Wang? Why didn’t he come?

你想去北京，那上海呢？

Nǐ xiǎng qù Běijīng, nà Shànghǎi ne?

You want to go to Beijing. What about Shanghai?

呢 often helps connect conversation naturally.
