很 + 动词
How it works
Some psychological or relational verbs can be used with 很, such as 很喜欢, 很想, 很怕.
Example sentences
我很喜欢这个地方。
I like this place very much.
她很想家。
She misses home very much.
小孩子很怕黑。
Small children are very afraid of the dark.
Usage note
Not every verb can be used naturally with 很. This is common with feelings and mental states.
