Formal Fixed Sentence Patterns

gùdìng shūmiàn jùshì

How it works

At HSK6 level, many important sentence patterns are fixed written forms rather than simple productive grammar rules. These patterns frequently appear in essays, official writing, formal reports, and serious exposition.

Common examples include patterns like:

一方面……另一方面…… (yì fāngmiàn...lìng yì fāngmiàn...)

(yǒuzhù yú...)

(zhídé zhùyì de shì...)

(bù nán kànchū...)

(cóng mǒu zhǒng yìyì shàng shuō...)

Example sentences

Zhídé zhùyì de shì, wèntí de yánzhòngxìng bìng bù wánquán tǐxiàn zài biǎomiàn xiànxiàng shàng, ér gèng duō tǐxiàn zài tā chángqī jīlěi de hòuguǒ shàng.

It is worth noting that the seriousness of the problem is not fully reflected in surface phenomena, but more in the consequences accumulated over the long term.

Bù nán kànchū, shuāngfāng zhēnzhèng de fēnqí bìng bú zài xìjié běnshēn, ér zài yú duì zhěngtǐ fāngxiàng de lǐjiě bùtóng.

It is not hard to see that the real disagreement between the two sides lies not in the details themselves, but in their different understanding of the overall direction.

Cóng mǒu zhǒng yìyì shàng shuō, yí ge rén rúhé miànduì shībài, wǎngwǎng bǐ tā rúhé miànduì chénggōng gèng néng shuōmíng wèntí.

In a certain sense, how a person faces failure often reveals more than how he faces success.

Key point

Mastering these fixed written patterns is essential for HSK6-level reading and formal expression.
