How it works
These patterns express location in relation to another object or place.
The pattern
在 (zài) + Noun + 上 (shàng) / 下 (xià) / 里 (lǐ)
Example sentences
书在桌子上。
The book is on the table.
猫在椅子下。
The cat is under the chair.

The clothes are in the suitcase.
